There were athletes from 5 countries competing in 9 classes. Of the Olympic classes held at Sail Brisbane, Australians won all - the 470, Laser, Europe & Finn. Among the winners were Nathan Wilmot (AIS/NSWIS) & Malcolm Page (AIS/NSWIS) (Men's 470), Jenny Armstrong (AIS/NSWIS) & Belinda Stowell (AIS/WAIS) (Women's 470), Brendan Casey (Laser) and Sarah Blanck (AIS/VIS) (Europe).
