The Race Management seminar was attended by 19 people; 15 from the host country and 3 from Canada and 1 from Grenada. Topics adressed were event preparation, starting penalties and other major aspects on race management.

The seminar was held at St. Petersburg Yacht Club, where the conference room and standard of facilities were excellent. Accommodation was offered at a nearby hotel. Rooms were clean and very comfortable.

On completion of the seminar, 18 candidates took the written test with 18 of them achieving the required level for IRO.
A special mention must go to the coordinator Tom Fahrquar who did a fantastic job organizing the seminar. The efforts and contribution of the participants made this seminar a great success!
