Ainslie Will Help Launch

Surfers Against Sewage (SAS), one of Great Britain’s leading environmental pressure groups, will relaunch their exciting new-look website on Friday, 1 March at 13:00 h with the help of Olympic Gold Medallist, Ben Ainslie.

“Anyone who enjoys water sports will know how important it is for the water we use to be clean and pollution free. Without organisations like SAS, water users would not have a voice and our water environment would still be seen as a bottomless dustbin for our waste. I am delighted to be able to help SAS take their message to an even wider audience by relaunching their website”. – Ben Ainslie

The new SAS website will be launched from the top of Chapel Rock, Perranporth on the North Cornish Coast, Great Britain. Chapel Rock stands around 30ft above the beach and represents a unique photographic opportunity.

Key features of the new site will be a private SAS members only area; with an e-zine style online magazine, exclusive articles and photos. Improved communication channels with academia and the public provide an excellent educational resource and improved usability.

“The SAS website has become an invaluable tool to the campaign. As well as enabling us to spread the word about our achievements, ideas, events and products to a global audience, it has become an information resource for anyone who cares about the state of our water environment and who wants to do their bit to make a difference”. – Vicky Garner Campaign Director, SAS
