Fifteen year old Kalid ADEL (UAE), has sailed a superb card of four bullets and a second in the five races completed in the Laser 4.7 fleet to sit with a 7 point margin over his nearest rival, Abdulla ABDERRAHMAN from Brunei in second place.
Over in the Laser Radial fleet, it is Muhamad MOHAD ROMIZ from Malaysia who put on an equally strong performance to hold the lead, over Egypt’s Abd EL-GANY KARIM.
There are no results currently available from the Laser standard fleet, which is ranked as an ISAF Grade 3 event.
Over in the 470 men’s and women’s events, the fleets have been split into Gold and Silver with Amro Yousry Omar and Nasser Al-Muhannadi (QAT) leading with a score of 3 bullets in the six races completed to date.
