After the first day of scheduled sailing when there was no racing due to a distinct lack of breeze, racing got underway today in Split. The wind was still light, a south easterly force three that rose a little chop out of the calm sea state.

After the first day of scheduled sailing when there was no racing due to a distinct lack of breeze, racing got underway today in Split. The wind was still light, a south easterly force three that rose a little chop out of the calm sea state.

Three races were completed to catch up with the lost day and the breeze was light, but steady. In the Finn class, there was an absolute match race between home sailor Karlo KURET (CRO)and junior World Champion M. Misura. Karlo leads 2:1 in the race victories so far.

The 49er class completed five races and it is being dominated Matulja brothers after the first day of racing. In the Laser, with the departure of Chamion ZBOGAR from Split, Mate ARAPOV, ranked 14 in the ISAF World Sailing Rankings easily dominated the day, followed by young Tonki STIPANOVIC.

for now. 470 class was dominated by Simi FANTELA and Igor MARINIC (CRO) crew with two
first places, followed by the Slovenian team of Tomaz COPI and Davor GLAVINA.
