Online Entry System Now Available

Sailors who have not filed paper applications and wish to enter in the Newport Bermuda Race can now use the Online Entry System. The on-line application and information process simplifies data management for both organizers and skippers.

Access the on-line entry system at www.bermudarace.com.

“When we notified the racing world two weeks ago of our ‘glitch’ in on-line application and made hard copy forms, we had 35 submittals,” said Race Chairman John WINDER. “We opened the on-line system without publicity this week”, Winder continued, “and got 35 more almost immediately. We are now well on our way reaching our record goal of 185-200 entries.”

New entrants can use the system to:

1. Registration – set up a login and password for Captains
2. File an Application for Entry (AFE)

Once the Application for Entry is approved to:

3. File a Supplemental Information Form
4. Complete Crew Information and Waiver Forms
5. Specify an Onshore Contact Person for the yacht
6. Make payments by credit card as appropriate

Please note that if you have already sent the Committee a paper version of the Application for Entry, steps 1 & 2 above will be completed for you, and you will be emailed a Login and Password for access to the rest of the Online Entry System. Once you have sent a paper entry form and /or have a Login and Password, you do not need to “Register” on the system.

You can also view and print a complete set of instructions for using the system for quick and easy reference. These instructions are found on the website and should answer many questions.

The deadline for submitting an Application for Entry is 1 April, so be sure to go online now!
