ISAF Regulations Updated And Available Online

The 2009 ISAF Regulations, updated following on from the ISAF Mid-Year Meetings in May, are now available to view online at www.sailing.org/regulations.

The ISAF Regulations govern a range of issues on the administration and organization of the sport of sailing, complementing The Racing Rules of Sailing, which govern the sport on the water.

The ISAF Regulations were amended during the 2009 ISAF Mid-Year Meetings, and the current version is now available online.

Published are two documents:

Overview Document – detailing the changes made to the ISAF Regulations by specific Regulation number
ISAF regulations showing changes – showing all the changes in a blue font, making it easy to see the specific changes

The ISAF Regulations are usually amended twice a year, during the two meetings of the ISAF Council, in May and November.

Changes may be proposed to the ISAF Regulations through the submission process, which enables ISAF Member National Authorities, International Classes, the Executive Committee, Committee Chairmen and the President to make proposals on all aspects of the sport. The procedure to make submissions is set out in ISAF Regulations 1.1 through 1.14.
The ISAF Regulations, including archive version, are available to download from the ISAF website at www.sailing.org/regulations.
