The penultimate day of competition at the 2014 ISAF Youth Sailing World Championship could see medals wrapped up in many of the classes.
It could be a great day for the French with two teams potentially able to win gold in the 29er and SL16 fleets.
Brice Yrieix and Loic Fischer Guillou (FRA) have an 18 point lead in the 29er whilst team mates Louis Flament and Charles Dorange are 15 points clear in the SL16.
Both fleets have three races scheduled on the penultimate day so anything is possible.
The postponement flag was hoisted early on in the day with minimal breeze present in the morning. However as the day goes on the breeze is expected to materialise, much like the opening three days of racing in Tavira.
A 6-7 knot south westerly will hopefully kick in late in the day allowing the 367 sailors from 67 nations to get some racing in.
