The first day of World Cup Series racing in Gamagori, Japan will be a wet affair with more rain forecast for the 251 sailors from 38 countries racing across eight Olympic events.

The rain that has been persistent since Saturday afternoon remains and is expected to continue through to midday with a slight chance of sunshine in the afternoon.
 
A morning north easterly breeze at 8 knots will decrease as the day goes on as it shifts to the north west.

All fleets will commence racing on 17 October. The Men’s and Women’s Windsurfers and Skiff fleets will conclude on Saturday 21 and the Men’s and Women’s One Person and Two Person Dinghies will finish on Saturday 22. To view the full schedule click here.
