The first Paralympic Development Program (PDP) clinic of 2019 will be held at National Sailing Academy in Antigua from 19 – 25 January.

Antigua will host the first PDP clinic in the Caribbean following a period of sustained development in the region by Antigua Sailability and the Antiguan National Sailing Academy.

Bob Bailey, of Antigua Sailability, attended the 2018 European PDP clinic in Malcesine, Italy and developed ideas to further the development of Para World Sailing in the region and to gain knowledge on how to host a clinic.

World Sailing is now inviting Member National Authorities who do not have a formal Para World Sailing program but do have coaches who would like to improve their knowledge and develop future programs. MNA’s from Group O will receive priority when applying to attend.

The deadline for applications is 16 November 2018. For more information on how to apply please contact Catherine.duncan@sailing.org.
