Obituary - Rafael Iturrioz Lozano

World Sailing is sad to report that on 20 March Rafael Iturrioz Lozano, a World Sailing International Judge and Umpire, passed away at the age of 84.

He served as a World Sailing International Judge in particular from 1996 and was an active supporter of sailing in the Cadiz area, acting as Vice-President of the Regional Federation.
 
He was a Navy Officer and regularly raced in the Snipe, Flying Dutchman, Soling and Dragon Classes as well as bigger boats.
