Day #4 Morning Report - Hempel World Cup Series Genoa

Over the first three days of racing at Hempel World Cup Series Genoa, the 676 sailors from 58 nations have been up against light winds that has hit the scheduled programme of racing.

Over the first three days of racing at Hempel World Cup Series Genoa, the 676 sailors from 58 nations have been up against light winds that has hit the scheduled programme of racing.

Only a small number of races in the 49er, 49erFX, Nacra 17, Laser and Laser Radial have been completed with no racing yet in the Men’s and Women’s 470 and the Finn.

Thursday’s forecast is again for light wind with 4-5 knots from the west predicted. As of 0945 local time, the morning cloud cover had disappeared and has been replaced with blue sky and sunshine which could potentially see a sea breeze develop.

Racing is scheduled to commence at 11:00 local time and every fleet has an additional race scheduled in a bid to catch up on races lost.
