Day #5 Morning Report - Hempel World Cup Series Genoa

Friday's action at Hempel World Cup Series Genoa is scheduled to kick off at the earlier time of 10:00 local time as the Race Committee bid to make the most of an early morning breeze.

Friday’s action at Hempel World Cup Series Genoa is scheduled to kick off at the earlier time of 10:00 local time as the Race Committee bid to make the most of an early morning breeze.

Conditions across the week have not been favourable resulting in a low number of races. On Thursday, the 470 and Finn fleets got racing underway after a two day wait meanwhile the 49er and 49erFX completed their qualification series meaning Friday will see final series racing action.

The Laser Radial did not sail on Thursday and have completed one race and the Laser have three races overall. The Nacra 17 also have three races overall.

Sailors headed out to the water at 08:45 local time with a 7-12 knot northern breeze across the five racing areas.
