Held at Lake Balaton, 62 teams from 17 nations raced with the multiple world champions clinching another gold medal.
The Hungarians started the week with six points from the first two races in light and shifty conditions. They took the lead on racing days two and three in heavier conditions, choppy waves and gusty wind.
Racing on their home waters, they finished with just 13 points after the discard.
Olympic Medalist Jörn and Bodo Boroswski from Germany finished second just before Olympic Medalist Joergen Bojsen-Möller and Jens Bojsen-Möller.
It was a successful event with all the scheduled races completed. The organizers did a great job on and off the water with the help of the beautiful early autumn Balaton weather. The two consecutive breezy days with 3 races each were pretty demanding and memorable for the entire fleet.
