2019 Annual Conference - 30 October - What's on the agenda?

Later on in the evening, the World Sailing Awards celebrated the success of some of the stars of the sport. Anne-Marie Rindom (DEN) and Marco Gradoni (ITA) were crowned female and male Rolex World Sailors of the Year.
Wizard took the Hempel Team of the Year, SailGP’s F50 received the Boat of the Year and the RYA / The Green Blue claimed the World Sailing 11th Hour Racing Sustainability Award.
Jeff Martin was posthumously awarded the Beppe Croce Trophy and his wife Angie addressed delegates in attendance. The final award of the evening, the President’s Development Award, went to Oman Sail.

Today’s agenda will feature a lengthy discussion in the Equipment Committee on the selection of Windsurf equipment for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. A new Para World Sailing Strategy will be presented in their committee and the Racing Rules Committee will review several submissions proposing amendments to the 2021-2024 edition of the Racing Rules of Sailing.
