Blind Match Racing World Championships 2024 to be held at Base Nautique de Sciez
The Blind Match Racing World Championship will take place at the Base Nautique de Sciez in France on 22-28 June 2024, organised by the Sciez Sailing Club.
This championship is the first edition of the Blind Match Racing World Championships since COVID limitations and marks the return of the discipline on an international level.
Sciez Sailing Club has been working in partnership with the French Sailing Federation and the National Union of the Blind and Visually Impaired (UNADEV) to develop sailing in France for the blind and visually impaired for several years and is now looking forward to welcoming the world’s best visually impaired sailors from around the world.
The Blind Match Racing World Championship aims to bring sailors and officials together to promote inclusive sailing and demonstrate the diversity of the sport.
