World Sailing statement regarding temporary suspensions 19 August 2024
Review of the decision to temporarily suspend Russian and Belarussian representatives on the World Sailing Council and other World Sailing bodies.
The World Sailing Board met on 7 August 2024 and reviewed the decision which was originally made on 25 May 2022 and determined that there was no material change in the circumstances giving rise to the suspensions.
The temporary suspensions will therefore remain in place.
The next review will be on or before the 22 November 2024.
